Trump ‘committed’ to securing ‘lasting peace’: US embassy in Kyiv

The US embassy in Kyiv has released a statement, recognising Ukrainians’ “bravery and sacrifice” since Russia invaded their country four years ago.

“President Trump remains committed to achieving a negotiated settlement and lasting peace that ensures Ukraine’s independent and prosperous future, with the United States as a strong and committed partner,” the embassy said.
