Chelsea must fix defensive lapses, red cards, says Rosenior after Arsenal defeat

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior, has urged his team to address defensive weaknesses and disciplinary issues following their 2-1 loss to Arsenal FC in the Premier League.

Rosenior spoke after the match at the Emirates Stadium, where Chelsea FC conceded twice from corner kicks despite producing encouraging attacking spells.

Arsenal defenders William Saliba, and Jurrien Timber, both scored from set-pieces to seal the win. The defeat was compounded by the dismissal of winger Pedro Neto, who received two yellow cards and will now miss the next league fixture against Aston Villa F.C..

The result also highlighted Chelsea’s growing disciplinary concerns, with the club recording seven red cards in the Premier League this season.

Rosenior admitted the team must take responsibility for defensive errors and improve focus if they are to meet their ambitions.
