Anambra Police Reply to Planned “Enough is Enough” Protest Over recent Electricity BlackOut

The Anambra State Police Command has issued a statement regarding the planned protest tagged “Enough is Enough”, which was scheduled to address electricity failures and alleged overestimation of electricity bills.

The police noted that officers themselves are residents of Anambra State and face similar electricity challenges as the general public. While acknowledging the concerns of citizens, the Command urged residents to engage constructively with the relevant authorities rather than taking to the streets, warning that protests could disrupt public order and lawful activities.

The Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring public safety across the state.
