Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is expected to resume full training with Galatasaray on April 20 following a recent injury layoff.
Reports confirmed this Tuesday that the 27-year-old is on track to face title rivals Fenerbahçe in the high-stakes Intercontinental Derby on April 26.
Recall that Osimhen had been sidelined after undergoing surgery for a forearm injury sustained during a UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool last month.
The Nigerian international has been a vital part of the squad this season, netting 19 goals and providing seven assists in 29 league appearances for the “Yellow and Reds.”
Galatasaray management is counting on the striker’s return to boost their campaign for a second consecutive domestic double after suffering a 2-1 defeat in their most recent outing.
