Heaven won’t fall if ADC, PDP miss ballot – Lagos APC
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, says Nigeria’s democracy will not be damaged if the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and other parties fail to appear on the ballot in forthcoming elections.
The Spokesperson of the party, Seye Oladejo, said this this Tuesday, while responding to complaints by a faction of the ADC over alleged threats to its participation in the polls.
Oladejo said that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, operates within constitutional limits and that compliance with electoral guidelines is mandatory for all political parties.
He also criticised the opposition party for what he described as attempts to shift blame, saying the situation was as a result of internal challenges within the ADC.
Oladejo further urged political parties to focus on resolving internal disputes and adhering to electoral guidelines rather than engaging in public complaints.
