The Abia State Police Command confirmed Tuesday that the suspect was arrested shortly after the fatal stabbing. Commissioner of Police Danladi Isa said the woman is currently being interrogated at the State CID over a murder investigation.
According to witnesses and family sources, what began as a tense disagreement over their sick child’s medical bills quickly ignited deeper accusations. The wife allegedly confronted her husband, identified as Chidiebere James, after discovering what she believed were incriminating messages on his phone, triggering a fierce quarrel that relatives initially managed to calm.
