Alex Otti of Abia State Might be Going Into The 2027 Governorship Race Unchallenged.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s younger brother, Mascot Uzor Kalu, has officially withdrawn from the Abia State APC Governorship race for 2027.
His withdrawal comes just days after Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu also stepped down from the governorship race.
With both major contenders out, Governor Alex Otti is now set to go into the 2027 gubernatorial election largely unchallenged within the APC and possibly the entire state.
Why is it that nobody wants to challenge him? why are they running? What is chasing them?
