Britain Should Recolonize Nigeria Again, NNPP’s Buba Galadima
Buba Galadima, a senior chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has suggested that Britain should recolonize Nigeria.
Speaking on an AIT program, Galadima expressed concern over the current state of the nation. He argued that the government must put aside selfish interests and focus on protecting citizens while creating an environment where they can thrive.
According to Galadima, if the government cannot restore order through other means, it should consider bringing in mercenaries or even allow Britain to return and help restructure the country.
“The government should remove selfishness and do the job of protecting citizens and providing an enabling environment for them to thrive,” he said. “If they can’t bring in mercenaries, let Britain come back, enforce rule of law, teach democracy and good governance, and curb corruption.”
