BREAKING: Former governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Gawuna, resigns from APC
A former Deputy Governor of Kano State and notable political figure, Nasiru Gawuna, has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a letter dated March 29, 2026, addressed to the APC chairman of Gawuna Ward in Nassarawa Local Government Area, Gawuna described his exit from the party as a personal and voluntary decision.
βI wish to formally notify you of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC), with effect from March 29, 2026,β part of the letter stated.
