The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made a slight adjustment to the schedule for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), shifting the arrival time for candidates in the first session.
The board disclosed this in a statement posted on its official X handle on Monday.
It said candidates scheduled for the first session should arrive at their examination centres by 7:00 am, rather than the earlier communicated time of 6:30 am.
JAMB clarified that the examination would commence at 8:30 am, with the session running through to its designated closing time.
“Attention 2026 UTME candidates: This is to notify you of a slight adjustment to the arrival scheduled time, particularly for the first session, which is now 7:00 am as against the earlier published 6:30 am, while the scheduled start time for the session is now 8:30 am and end time,” it stated.
