OWERRI, IMO: Last night, Naija Confra received reports from eyewitnesses at Axion Road, along Port Harcourt Road in Owerri that an Aye (NBM) cultist named Shorty, alias ChoChoCho, was k**led.

Eyewitnesses said the incident started few minutes to 8pm, when Shorty was chased from a hotel with another boy who was holding a fuel gallon. They were chased by about 7 men. The second boy, who was holding a fuel gallon, ran faster and escaped, but Shorty was caught. (Videos on TG)

The attackers began be@ting him, and one of them strvck him with a stone, while another brought out a knif£ and st@bb£d him several times in the side of his stomach. As they fled the scene, the attackers echoed “Aye Ax£men,” the Aye cult chant. Shorty alias ChoChoCho walked briefly while holding his stomach but later fell and di£d around 8pm. Eyewitnesses also said people in the area chased the attackers and caught someone, who was be@ten and taken away. (The first video is from an eyewitness shortly after the attack)

Throughout last night and this morning, no rival cult group claimed responsibility – it was only Ayes who informed NC that their subzonal butch£r was k**led. However, after NC broke the news, some Vikings (DNKI) cultists began claiming responsibility. While it is possible for rivals to carry out attacks and echo another cult chant to create confusion, Naija Confra does not believe this attack was carried out by Vikings. It may be a case of internal Aye clash, or a situation where Shorty was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and where the real target might have been the second boy holding the fuel gallon. Based on eyewitness accounts, this is a case of BKB. Reject Cultism.
