Prof. Charles Soludo Sworn In For Second Term As Anambra Governor
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has just been sworn in to serve as governor of the state for a second term.
The swearing in ceremony is currently underway at the Alex Ekwueme square in Awka, the state capital.
Soludo’s deputy Onyekachi Ibezim has also been sworn in to serve as deputy governor for a second term.
The oath of office was administered by State Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, who also confirmed Soludo’s second-term mandate and emphasized the stability and continuity of governance in Anambra State.
Several dignitaries are currently on ground to witness the oath-taking ceremony, including the vice president of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima; former presidents, Goodluck Jonathan and Olusegun Obasanjo; Chairman of chrome group, Sir Dr. Emeka Offor; chairman, President general association of Anambra, Vin Dike; former minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, the governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori; Chairman of the Anambra state traditional rulers council, Igwe J. C Iweka amongst others.
