Rosenior confirms Reece James fit as Chelsea prepare for Leeds Vs Chelsea Match

Chelsea English premier League Club

Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has provided a positive update on team fitness ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League clash with Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at Cobham on Monday, Rosenior confirmed that captain Reece James should be available despite feeling unwell earlier in the week. “Reece is fit, he’s okay. A small issue is that he is feeling unwell today, but hopefully he’s well enough to be involved against Leeds,” Rosenior said.

The coach also reassured fans about the availability of Cole Palmer and Andrey Santos. Palmer, who scored a hat‑trick in Chelsea’s 3‑1 win over Wolves last weekend, is fit to feature, while Santos has recovered from a swollen ankle sustained in that match

Defender Tosin Adarabioyo has returned to training and is expected to be part of the squad, while Romeo Lavia continues to follow a carefully managed recovery plan. “Romeo has been on the training pitch with us in the last two days, which has been great to see. We are making sure that when he’s back, he’s back for good,” Rosenior explained.

Chelsea head into the fixture on the back of four straight wins under Rosenior in the league, while Leeds arrive buoyed by their own 3‑1 victory over Nottingham Forest.
