NEMESIS has exploded on the Netflix charts with 11.4 million views in a single week totalling 40,3 million views since release becoming one of the platform’s biggest crime thriller breakouts of 2026 and massively increasing its momentum since premiere.

Nemesis officially took the #1 spot on Netflix’s English TV chart this week, beating out major releases like The Boroughs and continuing a huge upward trend after audiences got hooked on its explosive heists, psychological tension, and emotional family drama.

Created by Courtney A. Kemp, the series follows LAPD detective Isaiah Stiles and criminal mastermind Coltrane Wilder in a brutal cat and mouse war across Los Angeles, where both men slowly become obsessed with destroying each other while trying to protect their families.

Critics have also been praising the series heavily, with outlets comparing its energy to Heat and even elements of The Wire because of its gritty atmosphere, chaotic pacing, and layered crime storylines.

And with the finale ending on Coltrane escaping, Noah being shot, and Isaiah completely collapsing emotionally, discussion around Season 2 is already exploding online, especially after Courtney A. Kemp hinted there are already future plans and a continuation blueprint in place.
