Odumeje, has issued a scathing critique of the ruling APC and the “City Boy” movement associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has issued a scathing critique of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the “City Boy” movement associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a viral address delivered at his Onitsha-based ministry, the “Indaboski” sparked nationwide conversation by calling for the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and urging Nigerians to protest against the current administration.
During the session, Odumeje did not mince words, accusing politicians, influencers, and billionaires aligned with the APC of being disconnected from the reality of the average Nigerian.
“These Politicians, Influencers, and Billionaires supporting APC don’t care about Nigerians. All they care about is their selfish interests,” the cleric stated.
The Prophet’s remarks come at a time of heightened economic tension in the country. He highlighted several “national plagues” that he believes have worsened under the current leadership.
A significant portion of the Prophet’s message focused on the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Odumeje formally rejected the “City Boy” political movement, a popular name for the Tinubu administration and demanded Kanu’s release, framing it as a necessary step toward justice and national stability.
Moving beyond rhetoric, the Prophet urged Nigerians to take to the streets in massive protests against what he termed “Tinubu’s bad government.” He cited the mounting “deaths happening in Nigeria” due to hunger and insecurity as the primary drivers for this call to civil action.
The video of the sermon, which surfaced on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on February 13 2026, has already garnered tens of thousands of views and sparked a flurry of reactions from both supporters and critics of the administration.
