Iwobi Makes 2025 Football Black List for Off-Field Impact
Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has been named in the 2025 Football Black List for his contributions beyond the pitch.
The recognition was announced this Tuesday, with the Football Black List honouring him in the “Players – Off the Pitch category.”
Iwobi, who plays for Fulham FC, was recognised alongside Eberechi Eze and Jess Carter.
He was honoured for founding Project 17, an initiative focused on empowering underserved Black youth through football, education, and mentorship programmes.
The annual list celebrates Black footballers who use their platforms for social impact and community development.
