Ga-Dangme Leaders Thr€at€n To Exhum€ Daddy Lumba’s b,ody After Family Snubs Their Summons For The Second Time
The Daddy Lumba burial saga has escalated dramatically as Ga-Adangbe traditional leaders are now thr€at€ning to storm the late highlife legend’s East Legon residence and exhum€ his b,ody, after Abusuapanin Victor Kofi Owusu, known as Tupac, failed to appear before their Spir!tual Overlord for the second time.
Reverend Dr. Jesse Ankrah, a representative for the Nungua Gborbu Wulomo, made the declaration at the traditional leader’s office on Thursday, March 12, 2026, following hours of waiting for Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, who never showed up.
Reverend Ankrah stated that Abusuapanin’s actions had breached Ga law, customs, and traditions, explaining that under Ga-Adangbe culture, burials must take place in designated community locations, and that burying someone outside those boundaries without the performance of special r!tuals is a direct violation of customary law.
He warned that because the family head had failed to honour their invitation, the next step would be to physically go to Daddy Lumba’s East Legon residence, exhum€ the b,ody, and perform the necessary rites to purify the land.
