Man in Bibiani arrested for b,urning girlfriend’s family house, k!lling occupants after family opposed relationship

A 23-year-old palm wine tapper, Prince, also known as “On God,” has been arr+sted for setting f,ire to his girlfriend’s family home at Bibiani Subrinkwanta.

Three people, 19-year-old Benedicta Kudjo Felicia, 61-year-old Maame Mary Oppong, and 22-year-old Dora Adoma Kudjo, were reported de@d after the incident.

A relative, Paulina, said the suspect had earlier gone to the house looking for Felicia, a student of Queen Senior High School.

The family had reportedly w+rned him to stay away because they did not approve of the relationship.

According to her, the suspect allegedly insisted he loved the girl and thre+tened to b,urn the house if the family refused to allow the relationship.

She later received another call informing her that the house had been set on fire.

Police have since arrest+d the suspect, and investigations are ongoing.
