Ghanaian business mogul Ibrahim Mahama is not slowing down as he stunned many with his new purchase
A video surfaced of the Engineers and Planners CEO arriving at the airport in a convoy of luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles before boarding a sleek new Bombardier Global 6500 private jet on March 3, 2026. It’s a custom-painted white and grey and boldly branded “Dzata.”
He already had one private jet, but this is an addition to what he already owned, making it his second aircraft.
The Bombardier Global 6500 is one of the most advanced ultra-long-range business jets in the world, valued at approximately GH₵600 million.
Ibrahim Mahama isthe first individual in Ghana to have owned a private jet. Over the years, his aircraft, named after his cement company Dzata, has often been used by his brother, President John Mahama, and the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for official and personal trips.
