Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, 79, the wife of Iran’s sla!n Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has d!ed, just days after the joint US-Israeli str!kes that k!lled her husband on Saturday, February 28.
According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, she had been in a coma since Saturday str!kes as she was present with Khamenei at their residential compound in Tehran when the str!ke was carried out and was wounded in the same att+ck.
Reports suggest that the same wave of str!kes also k!lled her daughter and grandchild. She had been married to Khamenei since 1964 and largely remained out of public life, rarely appearing at government events. They had six children together.
