There was fir£ outbreak earlier today at electrical parts market in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The market was already open for the day when the fir£ started around 10 am, which made it easier to be contained, as the traders quickly contacted fir£ service and water dispensers who put off the fire.
About eight shops were affected, with different levels of damages.
No one could say exactly what led to the outbreak, although some suspected it could have emanated from solar panels mounted on the roof of the affected shops.
