Israeli forces carry out incursion, shelling in southern Syria

 

Israeli forces have shelled an area between the villages of Jamla and Saisoun in the Yarmouk Basin in Syria’s southern Daraa province, according to the Syrian state news agency SANA.

Earlier on today, Israeli forces also carried out an incursion into the Wadi al-Raqad area in western Daraa countryside, with seven Israeli military vehicles entering the area and setting up a checkpoint.

The report added that Israeli soldiers deployed along the road from the gate to the entrance of Wadi al-Raqad, opposite the towns of Jamla and Saisoun.

Separately, local residents said Israeli forces arrested two people from the village of Kodna in the southern Quneitra countryside.
