Tom Hardy has not been fired from MOBLAND despite the viral rumors that exploded online this week.

After several reports claimed Tom Hardy had been removed from the series following alleged on set tensions, multiple outlets including reported that sources close to production say Hardy was not fired and that discussions regarding his future are still ongoing.

The controversy started after reports alleged Hardy had clashed with producers over scripts, creative direction, and lateness on set during production of Season 2. Those reports led many fans to believe he was gone for good.

However, newer reports say the door remains open for Season 3, with sources describing the situation as a creative dispute rather than a confirmed firing. Executive producer Guy Ritchie is also reportedly pushing to keep Hardy involved because Harry Da Souza is considered the heart of the show.

And honestly, that makes sense. MobLand became one of Paramount+’s biggest hits, drawing over 26 million viewers and breaking records for the platform, with many critics and viewers pointing to Hardy’s performance as the main reason the show works so well.

So as of today, the most accurate update is this: Tom Hardy has not been fired, no final decision has been announced regarding Season 3, and negotiations appear to still be ongoing behind the scenes.
