Mr. President please stop using your brother’s private jet- Sports journalist, Gary Al-Smith.

Gary has advised the President to stop using his brother Ibrahim Mahama’s private jet for official travel, with the reason being that, the optics looks poor.

According to Gary, governance is a continuum, and we cannot justify every subsequent president doing this, so the state should either rent or buy one.

Gary fears that someone down the line could abuse this protocol and that even if the jet were free to use, the perception that any president’s family can have such access to that high office is something we have battled mightily as a nation.
