Olayinka Shows Delight over Winning Goal on APOEL Home Debut
Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka has expressed delight after scoring the winning goal on his home debut for APOEL against Omonia.
Recall that Olayinka, who joined the club during the January transfer window, scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute to secure all three points for his side.
The Nigerian international said the team fought hard from start to finish and deserved the victory, adding that he was happy to score and excited by the support from the fans.
He also noted that he had long known about APOEL through the Champions League and described the move as a good opportunity for him.
