Senator Nwebonyi Pledges ₦200m Law Auditorium and Roads for AE-FUNAI
Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Senator Peter Nwebonyi has pledged to build a ₦200 million ultra-modern law auditorium and internal road network at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI).
He made the announcement during a courtesy visit to the university’s newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Daniel Nwachukwu, and said the projects are part of his intervention plans for the institution.
Nwebonyi also revealed that 20 indigent students will receive automatic scholarships under his empowerment programme, with the beneficiaries to be unveiled in April.
The Vice Chancellor and university officials praised Nwebonyi’s commitment, noting his previous interventions that helped pioneer medical students settle outstanding fees and complete their studies successfully.
