BREAKING! President Tinubu Vows to Crush T3rrorism After Deadly ‘Prodigal Sons’ Attack Killing General and 17 Soldiers
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed that Nigeria will crush terrorism, following a deadly Boko Haram attack in Borno State that killed Brigadier‑General Oseni Omoh Braimah and several soldiers.
Reacting to the assault on a military base in Benisheikh, Tinubu said the attack is a sign of desperation by terrorists facing sustained pressure from Nigerian forces.
While mourning the death of the soldiers, Tinubu urged the leadership of the Armed Forces and all soldiers on the frontline not to be discouraged, but to draw strength from the nation’s deep appreciation for their sacrifices.
Tinubu said Nigeria’s armed forces are conducting intense land and air offensives, neutralizing many fighters and commanders, and that recent attacks show insurgents are struggling to counter military advances.
