ADC Expels Nafiu Bala Over Anti-Party Activities
The faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by former Senate President, African Democratic Congress, has expelled its factional chairman, Nafiu Bala, over allegations of anti-party activities.
The decision was announced on Tuesday in Abuja during the party’s national convention presided over by the David Mark-led leadership.
According to party sources at the convention, the expulsion followed internal disciplinary proceedings in which Bala was accused of actions considered detrimental to party unity and the implementation of its political agenda.
The leadership, under the direction of David Mark, said the move was part of ongoing efforts to enforce discipline and reposition the party ahead of future political engagements.
Nafiu Bala, who until his expulsion served as a factional chairman within the party structure, was removed with immediate effect.
The development underscores continued internal realignments within the ADC as it seeks to stabilize its leadership following recent factional disputes.
