Super Falcons Star Shukurat Oladipo Named Serie A Best Defender
Super Falcons defender, Shukurat Oladipo, has been named the best defender in the Serie A Femminile for the 2025/2026 season following her impressive performances for AS Roma Women.
The recognition was announced after Oladipo played a key role in Roma’s title-winning campaign in Italy.
Reports say the Nigerian defender made eighteen league appearances for Roma as the club remained unbeaten in matches she featured in while also keeping eight clean sheets.
Oladipo was also included in the Serie A Femminile Team of the Season alongside three of her Roma teammates.
Roma secured their third league title after conceding only nine goals in matches where the Nigerian defender was on the pitch.
