Anambra State Governor Prof, Charles Soludo Urges Ndigbo to Bargain Votes for Development
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has urged Ndigbo to engage in Pan-Nigeria politics and leverage their votes to secure equity, infrastructure, and opportunities for the South-East following his swearing-in at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.
In his inaugural address, Soludo emphasized the need for healing, justice, and a new narrative for Igboland, calling on citizens to move beyond lamentations and participate actively in governance, development, and nation-building.
He highlighted the importance of strategic organization, public-private-community partnerships, and diaspora contributions to transform Anambra into a livable and prosperous smart mega city.
Soludo also commended ongoing federal projects in the region, including the Enugu-Onitsha expressway and the adjunct to the Second Niger Bridge, and pledged that his administration and deputy would dedicate themselves to making Ndigbo proud over the next four years.
