Nigerian Police Fix April 28–30 for Nationwide Recruitment Aptitude Test
The Police Service Commission has announced April 28 to 30, 2026, as the dates for the computer-based aptitude test for candidates in the ongoing Nigeria Police recruitment exercise.
The test will be conducted across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, following the completion of the ongoing physical and credential screening, which is expected to end on April 18.
According to the Nigeria Police Force, the aptitude test is a critical stage of the recruitment process, designed to ensure that only qualified candidates are selected.
Authorities noted that the duration of the test may vary by state, depending on the number of candidates and availability of CBT centres, with some states completing the process in one day while others may use the full three-day window.
Applicants have been advised to remain patient and rely only on official communication channels for updates on test venues and shortlisted candidates, as details will be released in due course.
The recruitment exercise is part of efforts to strengthen the manpower and operational capacity of the Nigeria Police Force nationwide.
