Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, has sent a clear warning to Nigerians amid the rising wave of criticisms and attacks on her husband and public officials.
In her message, she declared:
“Stop Online Bullying, Respect Your Leaders and Yours.”
Mama Remi noted that many Nigerian leaders are highly respected and honoured abroad, yet at home they face constant bullying, ridicule, demeaning words, curses, and public dragging on social media often over every mistake.
She urged citizens to stop encouraging bullies with silence or support, stressing that Nigeria’s strength lies in love, unity, mutual respect, and collective effort rather than tearing down our own leaders.
According to her, no leader is perfect, but excessive online harassment is hurting national progress and unity.
