Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has dissolved the State Executive Council.
The dissolution was contained in a statement issued by his newly appointed Chief Press Secretary, Onwuka Nzeshi on Thursday.
In the statement, Governor Fubara directed all commissioners and Special Advisers to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior officers in their ministries with immediate effect.
The governor thanked the outgoing commissioners and aides for serving the state and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
