Dangote Refinery Raises Petrol Price to ₦1,175 per Litre
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased its gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to ₦1,175 per litre, marking the third price hike within seven days.
The new ex-depot price was communicated to marketers and depot operators this Monday, representing an increase of ₦180 from the ₦995 per litre announced on Friday.
The refinery also raised the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) to ₦1,620 per litre as part of the latest adjustment.
The development follows earlier increases that pushed petrol prices from ₦774 to ₦995 per litre last week, leaving consumers expressing concern over the rapid rise in fuel costs.
