The incident happened in 1982, when Jay-Z was only 12.
His older brother Eric, who was about 16 at the time, had st0len Jay-Z’s jewelry to support a drUg h@bit.
During a h£ated argum£nt, young Jay-Z grabbed a g-un and sh0t Eric in the shoulder.
Eric survived, forgave his brother, and did not press charges.
Jay-Z has said he was t£rrified after the sh00ting and has referenced the event in his lyrics, especially in the song “You Must Love Me,” where he raps about closing his eyes and pulling the trigg£r.
